PHD Hong Kong has bolstered its local leadership team with two new appointments and the recent promotion of Samuel Ho (pictured right) from group business director to general manager. All appointments and promotions are effective immediately.

Ho will work alongside PHD CEO Antony Yiu, who joined the group in September to support the teams in delivering quality services to clients and maintaining the agency’s vision of innovation, agility, and being results driven.

Ho has been with the agency since August 2019, overseeing the Unilever account and driving the biggest campaign of the year in 2020, the launch of Hong Kong’s rewards program, yuu.

Meanwhile, Candy Ho (pictured left) is named head of growth for PHD Hong Kong. Bringing a depth of experience in media and improving efficiencies, she will be the intersection of marketing and development to spearhead organic and new business growth in her new position. She will also report to Yiu.

Ho moves over to PHD from WaveMaker, where she previously served as general manager running the operations, new business, and relationship building with clients.

On the other hand, Martha So (pictured middle) is appointed as PHD HK’s head of buying to better leverage the Omnicom Media Group buying power and strengthen the positioning and partnership for PHD with various vendors. With extensive Media knowledge, she brings a solid network of relationships and a clear understanding of client’s needs.

Commenting on the new appointments, Antony Yiu, CEO, PHD, Hong Kong, said: “Since joining PHD over six months ago, we have prioritised investment in talent, both from recognising within and sourcing the best talent in the market to propel the business. I am excited to see the implementation of Ho’s passion for the brand, Candy Ho’s enthusiasm for growth and So’s genuine connections and their combined innovative perspectives to add dimension & drive to the PHD purpose.”
