
Millennium Hotels and Resorts names new VP of global branding, marketing and loyalty

Millennium Hotels and Resorts has promoted Carolyn Wishnowski (pictured) to vice president (VP) of global branding, marketing and loyalty.
In a LinkedIn post on Tuesday (15 April), Wishnowski expressed her gratitude for her team and reflected on recent brand developments, including updated brand standards, refreshed brand books, and a revamped loyalty program.
"In the months to come, we’ll be rolling out a dynamic calendar of brand activations across our hotels and platforms—from curated guest experiences to evolved loyalty touchpoints—all designed to build deeper connections with our guests and partners," she added.

Prior to her promotion, Wishnowski was the company's director of global branding, marketing and loyalty. She also held a year-long stint at voco Orchard Singapore as its director of marketing communications in 2022.
Before that, Wishnowski was the head of sales and marketing at DreamUs Group in 2021, and the group head of marketing, Asia at Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care in 2016. Additionally, she held several positions during her nearly seven-year stint at Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide.

Hotel corporations in the region have seen a slew of VP appointments in recent times. In May last year, Capella Hotel Group appointed Ivy Kwan as its senior VP of sales and marketing. In her role at Capella Hotel Group, Kwan will champion the strategic positioning of the company.

Prior to that, Hyatt Hotel Corporations appointed Tammy Ng as its new VP of marketing for Hyatt Asia Pacific. In her role, Ng strategises and develops communications, brand marketing, loyalty, and digital plans for Hyatt in the Asia Pacific region, said Hyatt Hotel when MARKETING-INTERACTIVE reached out at the time. She also collaborates closely with key regional and sub-regional leaders in operations, HR, development, finance, design services, and other commercial services disciplines.
