IPG Mediabrands names new APAC head of KINESSO

IPG Mediabrands has appointed Kristine Biti (pictured) to the APAC head of KINESSO. The news comes following transition of Matt Ware to the position of CEO IPG Mediabrands Japan.
Biti will be located in the KINESSO RHQ in Singapore, and will report to Leigh Terry, CEO IPG Mediabrands Asia-Pacific.
As APAC Head of KINESSO the IPG Mediabrands tech-driven performance agency, Biti will take over leadership of over a 1,000 digital experts across 11 markets engaged in digital media, marketing automation, advanced analytics, commerce, and AI.

With 15 years advertising, marketing and technology experience across the Asia Pacific region, Biti specialises in driving regional expansion, strategic partnerships, and organisational transformation within the industry, according to the agency.
She most recently was APAC head of operations, client and growth at Media.Monks.

Her position is effective Thursday 11 April.
The news comes shortly after IPG Mediabrands appointed Matt Ware as CEO of IPG Mediabrands Japan. The announcement comes following the departure of Koichi Sonoda prior CEO of Japan of five years.
Ware has relocated from Singapore to Tokyo to take on the new role which is effective immediately, reporting to Terry.
In his new role, Ware will lead the IPG Mediabrands Japan network, guiding advertisers to optimise their media investments for real business outcomes.
Previously APAC CEO of KINESSO, Ware brings with him over 15 years of specialised digital marketing experience, including 11 years within the Asia-Pacific region and over five years in Japan.
