Golin promotes Shouvik Mukherjee to executive VP, global creative innovation

Global public relations agency Golin has promoted Shouvik Prasanna Mukherjee to the role of executive vice president, global creative innovation, effective immediately.
In this post, Mukherjee continues his current remit as Golin APAC’s chief creative officer and will remain leading the agency’s Creative Intelligence Unit – a division comprised of data analytics pioneers and creative frontrunners, who integrate analytics and measurement expertise with creative and content capabilities.
He will also be responsible for creating new products and proprietary solutions that in turn will spur growth for clients, the agency and the industry in his new global role.

“Expanding Mukherjee's contribution to Golin globally comes so naturally, building off consecutive successes he has spearheaded,” said Darren Burns, president, Asia Pacific, Golin. “Mukherjee's appointment in this role, based out of Asia, underlines Golin’s commitment to being a truly global agency, and I am confident that the advancements he will make on the global stage will be electrifying.”
Shouvik will report to Burns and will also support Ginger Porter, global chief client officer and innovation council chair.

Mukherjee joined Golin back in 2011 as a manager and has held creative leadership roles throughout his tenure, most recently overseeing creative for the entire APAC region and supporting clients such as Allianz, Disney+, Harley Davidson, Hyatt, Magnum, Micron, McDonald’s, Porsche Asia Pacific and Uber.
Prior to his stint at Golin, Mukherjee was a senior consultant at Rice Communications. He has also held roles in Zzebra PR and Hanmer MS&L.
