Marketing and communications firm CatchOn has been named the agency of record for the Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC). HKDC is a non-governmental organisation that advocates for Hong Kong's position as a design leader in Asia.

CatchOn's duties will include creating an "extensive PR and digital marketing strategy" for HKDC's annual flagship events, namely the upcoming Knowledge of Design Week, taking place 21 – 25 June; and Business of Design Week, happening 29 November – 4 December. They will also launch BODW+, a new online portal for both Knowledge of Design Week and Business of Design Week that will offer content and events for audiences interested in design. Finally, CatchOn will also execute the PR plan for HKDC's annual design awards, the DFA Awards.

"We are delighted to have appointed CatchOn and are impressed by their knowledge and thought leadership in all things design," said Jillian Lee, director – innovation and design knowledge for HKDC.
