Capgemini Invent’s brand design experience consultancy Frog has appointed Jacqueline Alexis Thng (pictured) as Asia lead, effective from February.

In a conversation with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, Jacqueline Thng said while Frog was added to Asia as part of Capgemini's global acquisition of Frog's parent brand in 2021, the focus is now on expanding Frog's presence in Asia.

Based in Singapore, Capgemini’s Asia headquarters, Jacqueline Thng will lead the Asia region, focusing on key markets in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and China, while also supporting other regions such as South Korea and Japan. She works closely with Noemie Lauer, EVP and managing director of Asia, Capgemini Invent; and Gagandeep Gadri, global CEO of Frog.

Jacqueline Thng will take the helm of Frog Asia with the aim of growing the business in the region as part of Capgemini Invent. She will lead Capgemini Invent's “customer first” services, serving as a reinvention and experience partner for the eco-digital era. She will also apply strategy, creativity, technology, data, and AI to imagine and build products and brands that disrupt the status quo, drive growth and advance businesses, people, and the planet.

“I am thrilled at the opportunity to join my curious rebels and one of the most innovative and leading-edge change makers in our consulting industry at Frog. With Capgemini’s recent acquisition, the new Frog is uniquely positioned at the intersection of business and experience reinvention via a multidisciplinary offer of strategy, design, data and tech.  I am excited to lead Frog into the next leap helping businesses and brands in Asia to transform in the fast-paced eco-digital era."

Prior to Frog Aisa, Jacqueline Thng had served as partner, chief experience and growth officer for Asia at business transformation consultancy Prophet for over nine years, according to her LinkedIn. She was responsible for growing the business in the APAC region, and led in digital transformation, strategy, branding, customer experience, innovation and financial practice. Led and launched Prophet’s first Brand Relevant Index in China.

Capgemini Invent is the digital innovation, consulting and transformation brand of the Capgemini Group, a global business line that combines expertise in strategy, technology, data science and creative design, to help CxOs and business leaders envision and build what’s next for their businesses.

Back in December last year, Capgemini announced closed of the acquisition of Syniti, a company specialised in enterprise data management software and services including platform and migration services. The global team of over 1200 data-focused experts will reinforce Capgemini’s data-driven digital core business transformation services, notably large-scale SAP transformations, such as the move to SAP Business Suite 4 SAP high-performance analytic appliance (HANA), according to the release.
