Bonsey Jaden has promoted Philippines general manager, Francois Filamor (pictured), to group general manager overseeing Southeast Asia and Australia. In his new role, Filamor will lead all the agency's general managers across the different markets, and be a "vanguard for its growth".
Meanwhile, Kris Villongco will now take on the role of general manager in the Phillippines. Villongco was most recently the business development surpervisor previously responsible for developing new business strategies.
Filamor was the general manager of Bonsey Jaden Philippines for three years. In that role, the agency said that its Philippine post "pivoted to being one of the group’s most successful offices in the region, providing a comprehensive range of digital marketing and advertising services to numerous companies, both local and multinational". Additionally, according to Bonsey Jaden, his 15 years in the industry have taken him from strength to strength, with his work encompassing major tech and finance brands such as Galderma, BPI, and Grab.
"We are extremely happy to promote Filamor into this new role as we move forward with offering new services on data, market analysis, and AI," Daniel Posavac, Bonsey Jaden's founder and CEO said.
Filamor said he is looking forward to scaling what the agency has accomplished in the Philippines in terms of client growth and retention, operational efficiency, and employee satisfaction to drive success further across the region.
“[We’re all] excited — there is a lot of progress even beyond the seven markets that Bonsey Jaden is currently present in. We look forward to widening our footprint globally and furthering our strategy-driven talent on the international stage.," Filamor added.
Filamor's promotion is in line with the agency's plan of expanding its service lineup across Southeast Asia and Australia under the Cue Group, and its commitment to "the growth of the individual", which the agency said was one of the pillars of its corporate culture.
The agency sold a majority stake to China-based digital technology group Cue Group last September. The acquisition is said to further enhance CUE Group's expansion across Asia and the US, and the leadership and management structure of the agency remain unchanged. While Bonsey Jaden declined to reveal the monetary value of the stake, Posavac told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE that said a number of strategic factors led to the deal. But most importantly, it wanted to secure a long term partner that could enable the continued growth and development of Bonsey Jaden.
Bonsey Jaden is a digital brand agency composed of digital-first strategists, creatives, technologists, and thinkers. Headquartered in Singapore with offices across Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Australia, as well as the United States, the agency provides a range of digital marketing services to SMEs and multinational companies. The agency has worked with brands such as Mamee, Cetaphil Baby, Singapore Tourism Board Thailand, and Prudential Malaysia.
