Spritzer Malaysia quenches thirst for creative strategy with FCB

Spritzer Malaysia has appointed FCB Malaysia as its creative agency following a pitch. The agency has already started work on several key campaigns for 2022. According to group marketing manager, Shiao Chan, the agency's reputation speaks for itself and it also has "masterful storytellers with an undeniable passion for building and enhancing the stature of local brands".
"With its solid FMCG experience at our disposal, Spritzer is confident that this partnership will bring to life the many tales that are waiting to be told for the company," Chan explained. Meanwhile, co-owner and CEO of FCB Malaysia, Shaun Tay, said it was a dream to win the account for a Malaysian brand such as Spritzer, especially being a proud Malaysian-owned and operated agency.
"What I personally appreciate is the clarity of vision that the Spritzer marketing team has for the brand, and we’re excited to be part of its continuous story of success," he added. A+M has reached out to FCB for additional information.
Meanwhile, Spritzer is currently working with Trapper Media Group and Kingdom Digital for integrated media and social media duties respectively. Both were appointed earlier this year. Trapper is currently responsible for all Spritzer brands including Tinge, So Tinge!, Sparkling, and Acilis. Entropia was the previous incumbent and did not pitch. Meanwhile, Kingdom Digital currently manages Spritzer's Facebook page, which includes developing content strategies and producing relevant creatives. It also oversees digital campaigns for the brand.
FCB Malaysia dazzled the judges at A+M's Agency of the Year 2021 awards, bagging the "Local Hero of the Year" and "Agency of the Year" titles. It also performed well across categories including B2B Agency of the Year, Branding Agency of the Year, Creative Agency of the Year, and Social Media Marketing Agency of the Year. Additionally, Tay also took home silver for Agency Leader of the Year.
Aside from Spritzer, FCB Malaysia was appointed by Mamee Double Decker on August this year to handle the relaunch of its noodle Mamee Chef brand. Tay told A+M previously that there was no fixed time frame slated for the appointment. It was understood that three other local and international agencies were vying for the account.
