FCB Malaysia and Entropia win big at A+M’s #AOTYAwards and #MARKies 2021

For the 12th year running, A+M’s Agency of the Year Awards is proud to offer agencies the incredible opportunity to demonstrate their exceptional work and get recognised by the best in the industry.
Together with the MARKies awards, the night celebrated the most effective, innovative and creative marketing campaigns, judged solely by an esteemed panel of senior, client-side marketers.
Sweeping the field and taking overall first place for both “Local Hero of the Year” and “Agency of the year” is FCB Malaysia. Across categories, such as B2B Agency of the Year, Branding Agency of the Year, Creative Agency of the Year, CRM & Loyalty Marketing Agency of the Year, Lead Generation Agency of the Year, Social Media Marketing Agency of the Year and much more, the agency managed to take home nine gold, three silver and four bronze trophies in total.
FCB Malaysia continued to shine bright in the individual talent categories as well, as leader Shaun Tay and up-and-comer Jamie Hendricks, each took home a silver trophy for categories Agency Leader of the Year and Rising Star respectively. And their achievements did not end there, as the agency rose to the top, taking gold as Agency Team of the Year, truly demonstrating amazing efforts as a team.
Coming in second is Kingdom Digital Solutions, winning three gold and four silver trophies. Entropia came out in third place, bagging one gold, three silver and six bronze trophies.
For MARKies both overall titles of “Overall Creative Ideas MARkie” and “Overall Media Usage “MARKie” went to Entropia, with the agency claiming both winning titles. Under Creative Ideas categories, the agency managed to win seven gold, eight silver and two bronze trophies for their partnerships with Etika, TCRS Restauraunts, BMW Malaysia, KFC- QSR Brands, tengaNasional, Loob Holding, PepsiCo Malaysia and TMONE.
FCB Malaysia and Invictus Blue tied for second, both winning two gold and one silver trophies. Another tie at third place was claimed by M&C Saatchi Malaysia and Naga DDB tribal, with one gold, one silver and two bronze while the latter won two gold trophies.
Entropia won the Overall Media Usage MARkie with seven gold, seven silver and six bronze trophies for its campaigns with Fonterra Brands Malaysia, “Mums Know Best, Now Fonterra Knows Them Best”, Pepsi, “A Recipe of Malaysian Culture as Composed by Pepsi, BMW Malaysia, “Reengineering Experiential Automobile Commerce with World’s FIRST webAR Showroom” and many more. Placed at second was FCB Malaysia who took home two golds, two silvers and one bronze with its partnerships with RHB Bank and Perkeso. Invictus Blue took third place, for their collaboration with F&N Beverages Marketing and PETRONAS.
Other notable agency winners MAD HAT ASIA, Ampersand Advisory, Sumo Eleven, 4 Thirteen Group, ADA Asia Malaysia, Edelman Malaysia and GO Communications also performed very well across different categories.
