Spritzer Malaysia has appointed Trapper Media Group to handle integrated media duties for a year with the opportunity to extend for another. This follows a pitch held on 3 February and Trapper will be responsible for all Spritzer brands including Tinge, So Tinge!, Sparkling, and Acilis. The incumbent on the account is Entropia which did not pitch.
Spritzer looks to strengthen its market leadership and drive exciting new segments for business growth. Trapper teams will be working closely with stakeholders across all Spritzer brand teams to ensure through-the-line innovation is executed effectively and efficiently.
Group marketing manager of Spritzer Elaine Ho said Trapper was chosen because its insightful integrated media strategy demonstrated how Spritzer can drive greater connection and engagement. She added that the Group looks to strengthen brand awareness as well as top-of mind recall among Malaysians for all its brands, namely, Spritzer Natural Mineral Water, Spritzer Tinge, Spritzer So Tinge!, Spritzer Sparkling and Acilis by Spritzer.
"We are excited to kick-start our journey with Trapper to innovate our media strategies. We hope to reach our customers at the right touch points and connect with them meaningfully via a precise understanding of their journey. We look forward to a great partnership with Trapper, working together to elevate our brands," she added.
Meanwhile, Sue-Anne Lim, CEO of Trapper said sharp targeting means maximising channel potential and using meaningful data to help drive both retail and eCommerce sales, which is critical to Spritzer’s strategy. "Our people will be working with Spritzer as one team. We are well-prepared to be agile and responsive to sudden market changes," Lim added. Lim joined in January this year as CEO, reporting to founder and group CEO Sivanathan Krishnan. She currently leads a team of 50 individuals.
Separately, the company also appointed Kingdom Digital to manage its Facebook page for a year. This includes developing content strategies and producing relevant creatives. Kingdom Digital will also oversee digital campaigns for the brand.
