Spread-it’s director departs after 6 years

Hong Kong’s micro-influencer and key opinion leader (KOL) agency Spread-it’s director, Vin Ng (pictured), has departed after six years to join a subsidiary of the media company PressLogic as general manager.

Leading a team of 20, Ng told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE that PressLogic is an ad-tech ecosystem group that offers full-funnel, integrated marketing solutions powered by data, AI-driven tools, and an extensive content and social media network. It aims to deliver measurable results and conversions for brands by using tools such as MediaLens and chatbooster, along with expertise in content creation, social media marketing, and performance analytics.

During his tenure as director at Spread-It, a platform that helps brands to create public awareness on social media, Ng managed the KOL team, China marketing team, and content team, overseeing a group of 15 in sales, account management, and operations. According to his LinkedIn, he pitched, negotiated, and successfully closed deals with over 100 client brands, including L'Oréal and Hang Seng Bank, while also maintaining relationships with key corporate clients in Hong Kong, such as Vitasoy and the L’Oréal Group.

Ng provided leadership and mentorship to his team, focusing on meeting individual and team targets. He identified areas for growth for each direct report and offered guidance to enhance their skills. Additionally, he managed pipeline activities, sales forecasting, and coordinated sales meetings, while preparing sales budgets, forecasts, and analyses to monitor performance.

Ng also prepared monthly management reports for the founders and worked on establishing partnerships to support strategic initiatives. Under his leadership, Spread-It has expanded business into diverse regions including China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, and Thailand. 

“I believe that by leveraging AI and machine learning, we can enhance ROI performance on social media and create highly effective community networks in the digital landscape,” Ng said.

Established in 2016, there is a wide range of media platforms under the PressLogic umbrella, including GirlStyle (女生日常), HolidaySmart (假期日常), Kdaily (韓粉日常), and PetCity (毛孩日常), each providing diverse information on social media and digital channels.
