Digital outdoor advertising company QMS has expanded its Sydney network after securing a deal to take over nine Transport for NSW digital out-of-home (DOOH) sites this year.
The locations cover major high-traffic areas, including Cremorne on Military Road, Crows Nest on the Warringah Freeway, Maroubra on Anzac Parade, North Ryde on Epping Road, Wiley Park on King Georges Road and Blakehurst on the Princes Highway.
Each of the nine digital billboards will be powered by 100% green power.
The expansion is expected to add 20 million additional impressions per week, bringing QMS’ Sydney digital network reach to 92% of the city’s population weekly.
QMS chief sales officer Tim Murphy said the Transport for NSW partnership strengthens the company’s presence in Sydney’s outdoor advertising market, which also includes Hills Shire Council, the M2 Motorway and the City of Sydney digital street furniture network.
Murphy said QMS’ portfolio of premium assets are “reshaping” the Sydney out of home media landscape. He said the addition of the nine sites - along with several other contract wins since mid-2023 - has increased the company’s digital large format network in NSW by more than 40%.
“This new partnership is a game changer for QMS. We’ve had a clear strategy to build a compelling and balanced network for our clients and agency partners in Sydney. Our enhanced Sydney solution is already being embraced by brands as they effectively influence a broad range of audiences at scale through our premium digital network,” he said.
