EDB shows the world why businesses need SG in new cinematic film

The Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), in collaboration with The Secret Little Agency (TSLA), has unveiled a bold new campaign to highlight the importance of Singapore to businesses around the world. 

Titled "Your business needs Singapore", the one-minute clip begins by showing audiences how the world has been "turned upside down" with the rise of natural disasters and wars, among other reasons. 

"Not here though," the voiceover then said, showcasing how Singapore is a "safe space for all kinds of ambitions". The video features the country's most radical innovations and points out how Singapore's "predictability" allows businesses to confidently venture into the unknown.

"Because nothing today thrives without trust, stability and safety to make your next bold move," the voiceover added. 

In a LinkedIn post, TSLA said the new film is a fresh take on Singapore's often-overlooked value as a safe space for global companies to grow their businesses.

In November last year, Singapore Global Network (SGN), a division under EDB appointed TSLA to handle its social media and creative services. The appointment is for one year with the option to extend for another one year in whole or in part, according to GeBiz documents seen by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE at the time. 

Under the remit, TSLA will work with SGN to drive its social media content marketing efforts. This includes social media content and campaign planning, ideation and development.

Most recently, TSLA collaborated with POSB Bank in a new campaign to highlight the importance of financial wellness among consumers and advocate for action. Central to the campaign is a tearjerking film, highlighting that the greatest acts of love aren't always the grandest, but in the small, everyday steps taken to secure the future with loved ones.
