Accenture has appointed Siva Ganeshanandan as its managing director, experience platforms, for JPAC, MEA and Latin America. According to Ganeshanandan's (pictured) LinkedIn post, his role includes working with multiple technology providers on the "Business of Experience" - bringing together marketing, data content and commerce with service, CXM, social, and marketplaces, among others.
Ganeshanandan was previously GM - customer experience, Southeast Asia and Asian growth economies at Oracle for over two yeras, where he was responsible for the brand's CX apps business in the region, according to his LinkedIn. He also worked closely with Oracle's back-office applications, technology foundation and deep industry expertise.
Before that, Ganshanandan was director of solutions and strategy consulting, Asia Pacific at Adobe, where he led a dual role leading pre-sales and the company's digital strategy advisory practice, as stated on his LinkedIn. He led the APAC solutions consulting team across all Adobe's experience cloud, creative cloud and document cloud; and built, established and grew Adobe Asia Pacific's digital strategy group - Adobe's advisory function that helps companies with digital transformation. He also previously held the role of director of experience cloud, Asia Pacific.
Ganeshanandan said in his LinkedIn post that his new role with Accenture will allow him to work with the people teams he loves at Adobe again, and that his first few days at Accenture has exceeded his already high expectations. "There is a lot of work to be done, and a lot of challenges to overcome, but with everyone's support Accenture can not only get them done; it will have a great time doing it!" he said. Oracle and Accenture declined to comment on MARKETING-INTERACTIVE's queries.
Separately, Accenture recently beefed up its AI and data transformation capabilities in Southeast Asia with the acquisition of BIIT Consulting, a Malaysian data management and analytics firm. The move also aimed to further solidify Accenture’s position in the market for providing AI and data-led transformation services. Earlier this year, Accenture's marketing-focused arm, Accenture Interactive, acquired Entropia to expand its creative talent pool, creating more learning and growth opportunities for employees across both organisations.
