WE Communications SG CEO Jeremy Seow departs agency

WE Communications' Singapore CEO Jeremy Seow (pictured) will be leaving the agency. Seow was promoted in March this year from managing director to CEO of the Singapore operations. Seow told Marketing that he will be working on a passion project and continue working with people and organisations to connect data and content.Prior to joining WE, he was formerly MD of Zeno Group, a role he held since 2014. In his regional role with Zeno, Seow was responsible for partnering with key clients to formulate, recommend and implement digital strategies to advance business objectives.He started his career with The Straits Times as an interactive editorial assistant in 2000. Four years later, he joined Fleishman-Hillard for close to two years. He has worked with technology brands such as Adobe, Cisco, Intel, IHG, Microsoft, Nokia, PayPal, SingTel, Xbox, Yahoo and Zuji. Seow has over 15 years’ experience in business development, communications and digital marketing in Singapore and across APAC, holding past tenures at Ogilvy One Worldwide, Social@Ogilvy and Edelman.Apart from Seow, WE also saw another departure within the agency. Its head of technology Keng Wee Ng (pictured below) has also left the agency after nine years. He first joined the PR agency in 2010, and scaled his way from an account manager to the role of head of technology. In his stint with the agency, Ng has managed global accounts such as Fujitsu Asia, EMC, Rolls-Royce , BMC Software and Microsoft."I have celebrated many personal and professional milestones here at WE. But what has truly defined my time here will be the leadership, guidance and partnership from some the best leaders and teams in the industry," he said. Previously, Ng was with Bite Communications (which has now merged with Text100 to form Archetype). As a project executive for over a year, his clients included Skype, Siemens PLM Software and HP among others.Kass Sells, global COO and president of International at WE told Marketing in a statement Seow and Ng have been instrumental leaders to the Singapore business and is thankful for their contributions to the agency.“Our Singapore team has had strong momentum in recent months and we now have an opportunity to bring in a market leader and leadership team to support the agency into the next phase of growth. We will be announcing new appointments to these roles plus several other leadership roles in the coming months," he added.
