Wavemaker has appointed Jenny Pham (pictured) as head of media, Asia Pacific for Colgate-Palmolive. Based in Singapore, Pham will be responsible for leading the Colgate-Palmolive business in the region, where she will report to Rose Huskey, chief client officer of Wavemaker APAC.

Prior to joining Wavemaker, Pham was the general manager of marketing and strategy at GTI Tourism where she led a marketing team in the travel industry partnering with leading destinations and marketers at Vanuatu Tourism Office, Japan National Tourism Organisation and domestic tourism bodies. She also worked in various senior roles in GroupM agencies in Australia including Essence as VP client partner, MEC (pre-merger) as managing partner and Mindshare as business director.

In July, Wavemaker launched a new agency model for Colgate-Palmolive, creating an Asia Pacific hub in Singapore designed specifically to support the client’s business transformation agenda. The team currently develops strategy and audience planning for the region across Colgate-Palmolive’s product portfolio, and lead execution through the performance practice established over recent years.

Pham said she is delighted to return to the GroupM family and for the opportunity to play a role in this transformative journey of building the hub for excellence with innovation and growth at its forefront.  “I've long admired the brand’s work, particularly the Smile Strong campaign showcasing stories of real people who overcame seemingly insurmountable challenges through the sheer power of their optimism. I am excited to lead, inspire and champion optimism at Wavemaker!” she added.

Huskey added that Wavemaker is thrilled to welcome Pham back to the agency group network with Wavemaker being the top choice. "I am certain that with her strong digital knowledge coupled with her experience in managing brands in fast-paced environments, she will be building strong relationships where clients, teams and collaborators are empowered to achieve success collectively," she added.

Gordon Domlija, CEO of Wavemaker APAC, also said he loves Pham's energy, passion and drive to make a difference, it is inspiring and infectious. "Pham joins at a fantastic time, as we launch a new agency model for Colgate-Palmolive. Her leadership of the hub will accelerate our growth ambition for Colgate-Palmolive and further enhance Wavemaker’s position as the leading agency in the digital transformation space,” he added.
