Tenaga Nasional hands IPG creative, media and digital duties

Following a competitive pitch, Tenaga Nasional (TNB) decided to consolidate its creative, media and digital briefs into one account led by IPG Mediabrands Malaysia (IPG Malaysia). The incumbent on the creative account is Leo Burnett.Meanwhile, IPG Malaysia’s third media agency BPN, will handle media planning and buying, rounding off the integrated account.On another note, TNB has appointed Sutapa Bhattacharya, head of knowledge and strategy at Leo Burnett Malaysia as its general manager, effective 22 November 2017. Bhattacharya joined Leo Burnett Malaysia in April 2004. As the head of planning for Leo Burnett group Malaysia, she was also co-leading new business pitches and spearheads brand consultancy projects as well as inspires creative work and strategic solutions.She also had additional responsibility for thought leadership, dissemination of knowledge within the agency and driving the firm’s people focused initiatives.A+M has asked IPG Malaysia for more comment.(Read also: TNB shows how family matters most in viral Raya ad)
