Singapore Press Holdings hires former MD of Zenith Helen Lee

Singapore Press Holdings has hired the former managing director of Zenith Singapore, Helen Lee, to head up its product development and innovation team under the advertising solutions unit. Lee, in her new capacity, will report to CMO Ignatius Low. Marketing understands further details will be shared next week .Meanwhile, confirming her departure from the agency to Marketing, Gareth Mulryan, CEO, Publicis Media Singapore said “Lee is a proven leader having been with the company for 13 years – from Starcom to Zenith. She nurtured and grew the Oracle, Kering and H&M business. We wish her all the best in her future endeavours.”He added that a replacement will be announced in the next few months. According to her LinkedIn, Lee was managing director for four years at Zenith. Prior to the role, she was GM and regional account director. She was also with Starcom as associate director for five years.Lee told Marketing in a statement, “It's been a great journey working at Publicis Media and Zenith. It is one of the best agency networks to be at and I treasure all the relationships I have built, the people and businesses I have grown and nurtured. I look forward to building new relationships and achievements for the next chapter of my career.”Meanwhile, SPH, in recent times has been bolstering its team with hires from the media agency scene. It appointed former GroupM chief investment officer and head of trading Linda Lim in the newly-created position of chief of advertising partnerships and market development at SPH integrated marketing, as it geared up for its next phase of transformation. Lim is tasked to widen SPH's long-standing relationships with media agencies and strike up new ones with other players in the media ecosystem, including content producers, influencers and other potential resellers. She also works on anchoring SPH's relationship with clients beyond straight media buys, partnering them to build a local ecosystem of products, platforms and marketplaces to meet their marketing needs, amongst others.Last year, under the leadership of CEO Hari Shankar, Singapore Media Exchange, the digital alliance between Singapore’s publishers Mediacorp and Singapore Press Holdings, also began its operations. Shankar has more than 15 years of experience in media management. Before joining SMX, he was the managing director at Ecselis, the strategic arm of the Havas Media Group.
