“Tan's ability to harness the power of digital capabilities across a diversified group of thriving talent, innovative products and solutions reflects his comprehensive understanding of the digital ecosystem as well as his future forward leadership," said Neo.

"I congratulate Tan on this well-deserved promotion and look forward to working with him and the Singapore executive committee to take OMG to greater heights," Neo added.

Tan was most recently head of digital transformation and capabilities and previously helmed the role of head of performance at OMG Singapore.

Under Tan's leadership, his team doubled in strength, with strong retention and succession, a reflection of his ability to attract, develop, and progress top talents in the digital landscape, it said.

Tan also formed a task force to foster the growth of OMG Singapore’s digital community, and designs and leads quarterly digital sessions to ensure the teams are kept abreast of new content from industry partners.

He previously held the role of a precision lead at Publicis Media Southeast Asia for slightly over a year from 2020 to 2022.

Tan's other roles include IAB Singapore programmatic committee at IAB Southeast Asia and India, head of programmatic at OMD New Zealand, head of programmatic at Accuen, digital planner and buyer at OMG and digital account coordinator at TVNZ.

"I am honoured to take on the role of general manager of digital transformation and capabilities. As we navigate this ever-evolving digital landscape, our growth mindset will be our compass, guiding us to adapt and innovate for the future," said Tan.

"Our focus is on delivering robust capabilities with cutting-edge technology and data, ensuring operational excellence at every step. But at the heart of this transformation journey is our commitment to nurturing our people and talents, as they are the true drivers of our success," Tan added.

As OMG bolsters its leadership in Singapore, across the border, OMG Malaysia recently promoted Daler Kendzhaev to the role of managing director for investment and specialist solutions in May.

In his new role, Kendzhaev will be responsible for investment and partnerships, as well as specialist solutions.
