MullenLowe Singapore has appointed Roan Ebrahim as group business director. According to the agency, she will be responsible for managing integrated client work and driving organic growth. She will also work with client account teams and lead the strategic direction and execution of client campaigns, including work for Republic of Singapore Navy, Citibank and Johnson & Johnson.
Mullenlowe said that Ebrahim has a strong track record of building brands long-term and creating campaigns that deliver business results. Prior to joining MullenLowe, Ebrahim held the role of business director at Leo Burnett where she led the SKII global account for five years since 2016, as seen on her LinkedIn profile. Before that, she was with Publicis Groupe Singapore since 2010 as its account director before getting promoted in 2012 to division head where she helped build and lead the premium beauty and lifestyle hub. Having been in the industry for almost 20 years, Ebrahim has experience with working with many global clients and brands including P&G, Nescafe and McDonalds with various agencies such as Young & Rubicam (now part of VMLY&R).
On Ebrahim’s appointment, CEO of MullenLowe Group Singapore, Paul Soon, said that Ebrahim brings with her the type of experience, passion and desire that “represents a lot of what we want to achieve together for MullenLowe”.
Ebrahim said that joining MullenLowe provides her with the opportunity to challenge everything she knows and work with its clients to achieve greater heights.
Last year, Mullenlowe APAC launched a sustainability practice offering specialist support to businesses and brands across the region in their sustainability efforts during November. At the same time, the agency appointed its associate director, sustainability, Sarah Cragg to lead the initiative. This followed an earlier initiative in October where the Group unveiled a clothing line for World Octopus Day to raise awareness regarding plastic pollution.
