Master Kong Instant Noodles concludes creative pitch for premium line

Master Kong has handed its creative business for its premium line of instant noodles to Havas Creative China, following a competitive pitch last December, as confirmed to MARKETING-INTERACTIVE.
The appointment is understood to last for one year. As part of the partnership, Havas Creative China is tasked at managing the brand’s integrated marketing, communications and creative strategies.
The agency was chosen as it is capable of managing the entire process from brand positioning to integrated marketing and communications execution, which could leverage market insights and transform them into distinctive creative ideas.
“Havas has extensive experience leading new brands from 0 to 1, delivering end-to-end solutions. During the pitch, Havas impressed the client with exceptional strategic thinking and innovative packaging design for the new product,” said Ben Sun CEO of Havas Creative Group China in a conversation with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE.
The work is expected to roll out in March this year. Sun said, " It is a great honour to establish a partnership with Master Kong Instant Noodles. We will form a dedicated team to support the dual growth of both the business and reputation of this esteemed national brand. In the face of future challenges.”

Back in October 2024, Master Kong Beverage renewed its partnership with Mindshare China, a media agency of GroupM. This continued collaboration will see Mindshare delivering integrated omnichannel media services for Master Kong Beverage’s entire product line.
Additionally, Mindshare is tapping into WPP’s broader network, collaborating with Grey in China to create a bespoke client-servicing team for Master Kong Beverage.
This joint effort helped win the pitch for Master Kong Beverage’ 2025 Chinese New Year (CNY) digital and social campaign, broadening their partnership to include creative digital interaction and social to offer Master Kong Beverage more integrated and holistic solutions.
