Aligned with Malaysia’s ambitions for Visit Malaysia 2026, Malaysia Airlines is also taking proactive steps to promote Malaysia as a top destination for global travellers. The group has opened nine new routes in just 15 months, contributing to Malaysia’s tourism economy while maintaining its commercial viability. This aligns with the vision of Izham who seeks to further elevate Malaysia Airlines to the global stage.
The ‘Time For’ campaign also showcases the country’s vibrant culture, natural beauty, and rich heritage to international audiences. The airline has launched marketing activations across the globe – from vibrant tram wraps in Melbourne to the iconic London black cabs adorned with striking imagery of wanderlust that vibrantly reflects the campaign, inspiring travellers to explore breathtaking destinations and embark on their next adventure that includes seamlessly transiting through Malaysia, positioning the country as the gateway to Asia, and beyond.

It has also introduced standout activations such as the ones at the MATTA Fair 2024 where the airline introduced visitors to its A330neo aircraft through an immersive virtual reality experience. Attendees explored the cutting-edge Collins Aerospace Elevation Business Class seats and the award-winning RECARO Economy seats, which are setting a new standard in passenger comfort.
At the end of 2024, Malaysia Aviation Group made waves and raised the bar for the industry standard with the arrival of its latest offering – the A330neo. As the flagship product that heralds a new era for Malaysia Airlines to soar higher, the group aims to bring in a total of 20 aircraft, signalling a younger, greener fleet equipped with a premium in-flight experience complemented with the group’s signature Malaysian Hospitality.

Adding excitement was the unveiling of Google Gemini, a state-of-the-art artificial intelligence platform that revolutionises trip planning. Visitors were engaged with an AI- powered photo booth, transporting them to their dream destinations through advanced image generation technology.
The experience also included a personalised trip planner, allowing users to input details such as destination, duration, and budget for a custom itinerary crafted by Google Gemini’s advanced predictive analytics.
These innovations highlight Malaysia Airlines’ commitment to leveraging technology to enhance the customer journey and redefine the travel experience.
In response to evolving travel needs for business or leisure, Malaysia Airlines has reimagined its corporate travel programme, now branded as MHcorporate. This enhanced programme offers tailored solutions for SMEs and large corporations, delivering unmatched flexibility and upfront savings on the airline’s extensive network.
MHcorporate introduces corporate enrich points, which can be redeemed for various travel benefits along with enhanced offerings for marine and MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) travellers.
