Landor & Fitch bolsters APAC leadership with new senior hires

Specialist brand and design consultancy Landor & Fitch has bolstered its APAC leadership team with new senior appointments. The new hires aim to further enhance the firm’s strategic brand and design offer, driving impactful transformation strategy and brand-led experiences for clients in the APAC region.

According to the release, the appointments add to a 300 strong team located in studios across the region from Tokyo to Mumbai, from Sydney and Beijing and multiple locations in between. 

Abel Sim (pictured middle) joins from Accenture Song as executive director of experience for the APAC region. Over the last two decades, Abel has worked closely with MNCs and SMEs to plan and deliver cross-platform strategies to transform companies such as Netflix, Fanta and Porsche. In his new position, Sim will be heading up the brand experience practice in APAC and accelerate growth in response to increasing demand for brand-led experience strategy.

Damian Arce (pictured right) joins Singapore studio as creative director for Southeast Asia. No stranger to Landor & Fitch, Damian has been a driving force in pushing the creative boundaries in Mexico and across the Americas before relocating to Singapore. With over 20 years of experience, his brand and design abilities are specialised to FMCG, financial services, hospitality and technology, having worked with Starbucks, Intel, Accenture, Citibank and American Express.

Meanwhile, Kirsten Dunlaevy (pictured left) is appointed as executive business director, and is responsible to facilitate growth for Landor & Fitch in Australia and New Zealand. With over 17 years of experience, Dunlaevy has worked with global brands such as Samsung, AstraZeneca, Pernod Ricard, Telstra, Westfield and Macquarie. According to the company, Dunlaevy is strengthed in team development, client engagement and new business strategy. Dunlaevy's LinkedIn profile shows that she worked in agencies such as Ogilvy Australia, R/GA, DDB and Saatchi & Saatchi prior to her new role.
