Coway, a South Korean water filtration and air purifier company, has called for an integrated pitch covering creative, media, and PR in Malaysia. A+M understands that the appointment is for three years, and agencies are required to share a full list of activities for 2020. It is also understood that agencies can choose either one or two areas to pitch for out of the three.Coway currently works with Grey Malaysia, Ampersand Advisory and SLPR Worldwide, A+M understands. In 2016, it picked Leo Burnett to manage integrated duties covering advertising, social, digital and PR following a two-month long selection process. A+M has reached out to Coway for comment. The company recently revived the popular K-pop hit "Nobody", putting a local twist to the song in its latest music video titled “CODYNATION”. The video was created to educate the Malaysian public on the superior after-sales service provided by the Cody (Coway Lady) team: an army of 5,000 personnel trained by Coway to deliver both excellent technical service and customer relations. The video was done in collaboration with Grey Malaysia and Directors Think Tank. Grey's ECD Graham Drew said previously that the team saw the opportunity to drive the messaging of “Excellence in every step” and deliver it with a pinch of fun.In April this year, it also celebrated its attainment of one million customers in Malaysia with the new campaign “One Million Homes in Malaysia”. The integrated campaign featured a film that follows the journey of water and air as they travel through different generations of homes, showcasing the technology that Coway employs in all of its products.[A+M’s PR Asia will come to Malaysia this November, gathering together some of the finest minds in industry to explore the exciting and developing world of digital PR.
