Employment marketplace Jobstreet by SEEK has handed its advertising and creative services to Talon Creative, according to a statement by the brand.

The agency was chosen due to its ability to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to grow the platform’s presence, said Yoda Buyco, head of consumer marketing and insights at SEEK Asia.

“Talon demonstrated that they best understood how to drive the new Jobstreet platform in this digital age of AI technology in an entertaining and disruptive manner,” Buyco explained.

“Jobstreet’s unique position in the market allowed us to approach this brief with a unique point of view, and we were appreciative that the folks at Jobstreet were receptive,” added Gavin Teoh, managing director of Talon Creative.

Teoh also explained that as Talon looks to opportunities to leverage entertainment to connect with audiences, the agency plans to help Jobstreet revolutionise how both job seekers and hunters job hunting.

MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached out for more information.

As Jobstreet grows its presence online, it recently uncovered the realities of hiring on social media with a campaign done in April last year. Titled “Hire Real Talent,” the campaign is a continuation of its initiative to empower companies in the search of better candidates in 2023 through a series of videos.

This comes as JobStreet understands that social networking channels are proven to be an effective way of communication, but using them for seeking talents may be more inefficient than hirers think. This video series takes a witty look at real-life scenarios and challenges among employers that use social media for posting their job vacancies.
