Iris Worldwide has brought on board Cristina “Tin” Sanchez (pictured) as its new executive creative director. Sanchez will be based in Singapore and will report to Andy Cairns, managing director at Iris Worldwide.
Prior to this, Sanchez was the executive creative director for VMLY&R and deputy executive creative director for Wunderman Thompson in The Philippines. With over 20 years in the industry, Sanchez brings with her a deep understanding of regional and international markets such as The Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, UK, and USA.
Some of the notable brands Sanchez has worked on include J&J, P&G, McDonald’s, Pfizer and Unilever.
“It’s a challenging time everywhere. The world has changed. People have new perspectives, new values and new habits. But through it all there are some things we ought to preserve for ourselves, our brands and our audiences – our sense of humanity and our faith in creativity. These remain to be the things that make us form deeper connections and thrive in a new world. I’m very excited to join Iris Singapore in the agency’s new chapter. We are ready for more,” said Sanchez.
“We are so excited to have Sanchez join Iris Singapore; she is genuinely a world class creative leader who has led some of the biggest brands in the world and whose work has won every accolade worth winning. Just as exciting is Sanchez’s appetite for the next chapter of success at Iris. The journey now is about continuing to elevate our product across all of our connected specialists, from data and performance to integrated branding and comms. Sanchez is hungry for that opportunity and precisely the right creative leader to realise it” said Cairns.
Earlier this year, iris Singapore appointed Rajnish Suneja as regional business director for Samsung and Narayanan Rajgopalan as head of data-driven marketing for the agency. Suneja is tasked with leading Samsung's regional business while Rajgopalan is tasked with enhancing Iris’s data-driven practice, rooted in participation, covering customer experience, data activation, martech and performance marketing. Both report to Cairns.
