
dentsu Creative Singapore names new managing director

Dentsu has appointed Fiona Huang as managing director, dentsu Creative Singapore, effective 25 March. In her new role, Huang will scale the agency's creative business.
Huang has over 17 years of experience in driving brand-to-business growth through award-winning creative excellence and marketing effectiveness, according to a statement seen by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE. Additionally, Huang has consistently initiated and delivered outstanding results for new-to-market brands, local and global icons across a multitude of categories, including tourism, F&B, technology, lifestyle, art and institutions.
She was most recently general manager at BLKJ Havas where she drove creative, commercial and cultural growth for clients and the agency collective. Huang also grew and cemented BLKJ Havas' role as Havas' APAC creative flagship, according to her LinkedIn. Prior to that role, she was business director, senior account director and account director at BLKJ.

Other roles she's held in her career include brand, business, account management at Forsman & Bodenfors Singapore and account director at DDB Group Singapore and BBDO Worldwide.

Huang's appointment comes on the back of Singapore naming Rahul Thappa as managing director for its CXM and media business to enhance its integrated adtech and martech solutions.
Meanwhile, across the border, dentsu appointed Bala Pomaleh as CEO, media, dentsu Malaysia. Effective 3 March 2025, Pomaleh will report to Audrey Chong, CEO, dentsu Malaysia.
