Iris Singapore has announced three new hires it continues to expand and enhance its integrated capabilities encompassing creative, strategy and innovation. Bettina Feng (pictured centre) has been appointed head of integrated content product, while Priya Kalidas (pictured right) has been named business director. Meanwhile, Jenny Berryman (pictured left) joins as senior graphic designer.
According to the agency, the newly-created appointments are poised to bring the iris proposition, For the Forward, to life through its work, people, clients and partners. This is in a bid to make iris the first choice for progressive clients looking for the best integrated solutions. Feng joins iris from DDB Singapore with a remit to further augment the agency’s production capabilities with a focus on new formats, digital assets and social media. She has over 19 years of experience working on global, regional and local brands and will report to Andy Cairns, MD, iris Singapore. “A new leadership team with a progressive vision is what attracted me to iris,” she said.
An account management and brand communication professional with over 15 years of experience, Kalidas joins from Ogilvy Singapore with a scope of leading Samsung’s regional business, reporting to Cairns as well. “The opportunity to work with some of the most talented and brilliant minds, in an agency that adopts a progressive culture, and driving brands forward, under a new leadership team” is what attracted Kalidas to the role.
Finally, Berryman joins the creative team with a remit to leverage design to create a compelling point of differentiation for every encounter and experience a brand has with its audience. Reporting to Ed Cheong, ECD at iris Singapore, Berryman has extensive experience in graphic and industrial design across a plethora of verticals such as haircare, skin care and lifestyle across the markets of London, Paris and Singapore. “I have always admired iris’ work with a varied client set – and now I’m here, I get to work with a big mix of talented creatives and strategists,” she explained.
“The market for the very best talent has never been tighter – nor more important. These three hires are a testament to how far we have come in the past 18 months and the journey we are on; Feng, Kalidas and Berryman are all outstanding practitioners. Bringing these and our other connected specialists together simply gives us greater firepower when it comes to solving our clients’ ever more diverse business problems," Cairns said.
