Global creative innovation network Iris has appointed Rebecca Nadilo (pictured) as managing director of Iris Singapore, as it looks to take the agency into the new era. Nadilo will work to develop the agency so that it can best serve its clients through its rapid evolution across creative industries, global economics and consumer expectations.
A seasoned strategist, Nadilo has worked across Singapore, Australia and the U.S. and has gained extensive experience in both local and global roles across an impressive portfolio of local and multinational brands such as HSBC, Visa, Smirnoff, Tiger, Unilever, AT&T and Johnson & Johnson

Throughout these roles, she has been the driving force behind her teams winning new business as well as clearly defining vision and strategic priorities - all of which has been achieved through her dynamic, people-first strategic approach, said Iris in a statement.
“I am excited to take my strategic ability into this new leadership role at Iris Singapore to shape agencies, capabilities and outputs. I do this with a relentless focus on creating the very best culture and environment for the people who are delivering the output. If our people go home every day knowing they are empowered in the projects they are working on and how they contribute to the agency - the best work will follow," said Nadilo.
“As client strategy has always been a key part of my job, I am naturally coming into this role with client centricity, focusing on how agencies can be genuine partners that deliver long term outcomes for brands through adding value beyond the brief," she continued.
At the heart of it, Nadilo is a people person who has spearheaded numerous allyship initiatives for women and mothers in advertising. Nadilo has previously worked to ensure the industry encourages a flexible, supportive workplace where people can focus on doing their best work with the full support of their agency. Through such initiatives, she hopes to encourage progress at further agencies; evolving ways of working at an increased pace, creating a progressive culture that’s built on flexibility, with accountability and achievement at the core, said Iris.
As well as overseeing the agency’s client base and ensuring that they are progressive and forward-thinking, Nadilo will be responsible for strengthening Iris’ social capabilities.
She will oversee the launch of a new cultural content proposition designed to plug the gap between social specialists and traditional agency models. Built on the knowledge that the creator economy is gaining ground, the ‘Iris Inc’ proposition - which stands for Igniting New Creators’ - will combine the agency’s in-house talent and a global network of creators to harness the power of the creator economy for clients and will sit at the forefront of Iris’ offering to encourage both agencies and brands to embrace this cultural shift, it said.
“We asked senior clients in Singapore who the most inspiring and modern leader they knew, and they said ‘Rebecca Nadilo’. We are delighted she is joining us, helping serious and ambitious clients put socially driven participation right at the heart of their business as they seek to achieve competitive advantage," said Ian Millner, the chair and co-founder at Iris.
Recently, Iris Singapore named Khoon Kiat Liong as its new creative director and head of art. Liong will report to Cristina Sanchez, executive creative director at Iris Singapore.
Prior to joining Iris, he was creative director at Publicis Singapore. In his new role, Liong will help elevate the quality of campaigns for the agency’s clients. With more than 15 years spent at network agencies in Singapore, Malaysia, and China, he has handled brands such as Tiger Beer, Dove, Lee, CloseUp Toothpaste, Omo & Breeze, and the Health Promotion Board.
