Havas Media Group Singapore names new head of digital

Deanson Lee (pictured), previously executive director of digital strategy and client solutions, has been promoted to head of digital at Havas Media Group Singapore. Lee will oversee digital initiatives across the business. Lee reports to Russell Lai, chief commercial officer of Havas Media Group Singapore.

In this elevated role, Lee will continue to provide leadership on digital strategies and processes for the group, driving development of digital products as well as seeing to the growth of digital performance in search, social and precision targeting. Lee will also assume accountability of operational performance, guiding ad-tech operations and empowering the account teams to deliver digital solutions and products for Havas’ clients, brands and businesses.

Additionally, Lee will be tasked to boost the Group’s culture of innovation, working horizontally across the Group’s business and specialist units to map out proactive plans to promote performance-driven digital and eCommerce solutions and innovation to clients, especially in topics and explorative formats like e-gaming and brand building in the Web3.0 space.

With the enhancement of his role, Lee commented that he is excited to lead the group closer to its vision of being a meaningful agency through digital innovation alongside the business teams, clients and partners.

“In 2022 we invested significantly in enabling a more agile workflow process and improving the quality of life across the digital functions in the agency. Moving forward, we are excited to have our attention focused on technology, digital supply chain and scaling up our clients and resources. I am confident that we will carve significant milestones in digital efficiencies for our clients with the strong support of our digital partners in partnership with our teams," he said.

Lai added that this is a much deserved promotion for Lee who has contributed greatly to the group’s growth throughout the years with his clients first, problem solving mentality. He said, "I have no doubt he will lead the group to greater heights and guide our clients to succeed in the ever-evolving Web 3.0 space.”

A few months ago in July, the Group appointed Prayarana Aryan as head of eCommerce. Based in Singapore, Aryan's role is to help unlock and support clients in the marketplace space while reporting to Lee.
