Havas Media Group has appointed Prayarana Aryan (pictured) as head of eCommerce. Based in Singapore, Aryan will help unlock and support clients in the marketplace space while reporting to Deason Lee, executive director, digital strategy and client solutions, Havas Media Group. Aryan brings with her over 14 years of experience across marketing, strategy, retail and eCommerce. At the same time, Havas Media Group launched its full service eCommerce offering, Havas Market, in Singapore. Havas Market’s end-to-end solution aims to support clients looking to transform their commerce approach in order to reach an engaged audience across a highly competitive category, the agency said in a statement. Havas Market will also provide a comprehensive understanding and analysis into the brand’s eCommerce environment, including marketplaces’ such as Amazon, Lazada, Shopee, TMALL, JD.com, Social Commerce, D2C, and eRetail. “This approach will be guided by Havas Media Group’s unique Mx (media experience) process that uses connection, context and content to create the most meaningful experience for a consumer,” Havas added.

Lee said that the eCommerce space in Singapore has seen tremendous growth with a shift in shopping behaviour post pandemic. “I am confident that under Aryan’s stewardship, Havas Market will help clients drive sales across the full shopping ecosystem to optimise their e-retail businesses,” he added.

Meanwhile, Aryan said that she looks forward to her past experience and Havas Market’s capabilities to future proof and transform the agency’s clients’ businesses. MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached out to Havas Media Group for additional information.

He has also worked with media agency brands such as IPG, Zenith and PHD

Havas Media Group made several leadership hires last November as well, to bolster its Singapore and regional operations as part of its growth plans in the areas of data and digital excellence and strategic business leadership. It appointed Leroy Lim as strategic business lead for Singapore and regional growth and client lead for SEA, Deanson Leeas executive director of digital strategy and solutions, and Ellen Dunkley as performance marketing lead in Singapore. According to the agency then, the appointments come at the back of strong business momentum and the increasing digitalisation ambitions of clients; as they bounce back from the pandemic to aggressively regain and grow their business through more agile marketing strategies.
