Havas Media Group HK brings on board Carmen Wu to lead Havas Market in HK

Havas Media Group Hong Kong has launched its strategic full-service eCommerce consultancy, Havas Market, following the appointment of Carmen Wu (pictured) as head of eCommerce.
Currently operating in a couple of APAC markets including Australia and Singapore, Havas Market provides comprehensive understanding and analysis across all sales channels, including leading marketplaces, social commerce, direct-to-consumer and digital-to-retail, using a unique methodology that goes beyond media, according to the release.
To further its commitment to creating a more meaningful shopping experience for consumers, Havas Market delivers end-to-end solutions that support clients looking to transform their commerce approach and actively engage their audience across a highly competitive category.
Moving forward, Havas Market will work closely with the Havas performance marketing business, ensuring eCommerce is seamlessly connected to a single communication approach and enhancing Havas Media’s broader ability to work with clients across the full customer journey.
Meanwhile, Havas will now offer strategic consulting in the eCommerce space, helping established brands and start-ups to navigate the complex eCommerce world. This will involve work across D2C websites, Marketplaces and tech providers including Cloud and CRM. Wu will work very closely with the performance marketing team, allowing Havas to offer clients an end to end solution.
Wu, an industry expert with more than 10 years of experience in eCommerce, said: “eCommerce revenue in Hong Kong is expected to show an annual growth rate of nearly 20% in 2023.
