Havas Creative China names new chief creative officer

Havas Creative China has appointed Yinbo Ma (pictured) as chief creative officer, reporting to Havas Creative China CEO Ben Sun.

With a career spanning top agencies in New York and China, Ma brings a wealth of experience and creative excellence.

Prior to Havas, Ma was the chief creative officer of McCann Worldgroup China, based in Shanghai. Before that, he also helmed various seinor creative roles at renowned agencies such as Bartle Bogle Hegarty China, DDB New York and Publicis New York.

For his addition, Ben Sun, CEO of Havas Creative China, said: "Ma is a leader in creativity. We're excited about his potential to elevate our team and to support the creative integration of Havas China Village."

Karl Wu, chairman and CEO of Havas Group Greater China, said: "Ma's creativity is exceptional. Back in September 2023, Havas Creative China named Ilo Leung as the creative partner for its Guangzhou office, effective immediately. In this newly created role, Leung will report to Ben Sun, CEO of Havas Creative China.

This came as the agency is investing in the prosperity of the Greater Bay area, starting from Guangzhou office.

Since 2009, Leung has helmed numerous senior executive roles such as the creative director, marketing director and creative partner of a global agency and brand.
