With her growing presence on the global stage, it is no surprise that the Italian luxury house tapped on the popular actress as its newest face.
She took to her Instagram page that boasts 77.2 million followers to make the announcement. “I’m honoured to represent the house of Gucci not only in India but at the global stage, Gucci’s legacy has always inspired and intrigued me and I’m looking forward to the many sartorial milestones we create together,” she said.

With her appointment as Gucci’s global ambassador, she will be joining the likes of NewJeans’ Hanni, Chinese actress, Ni Ni and Harry Styles to name a few.
This is momentous occasion for Bhatt as she is one of the handful number of Indian faces that have been recognised by global fashion territories. Recently, Deepika Padukone was appointed as the face of Louis Vuitton and Priyanka Chopra as the face of jewellery brand, Bulgari.
The actress will be making an appearance at Gucci’s 2024 runway show in Seoul tomorrow, an event that will be marking the brand’s 25th year in the country as reported by WWD.
While being a popular face in the Indian film industry, Bhatt is also a producer and entrepreneur. She recently launched her own production house, Eternal Sunshine Productions which embarked on its maiden project, Darlings, with Red Chillies. The film was distributed on Netflix and went on to be a roaring success.
