Former Ogilvy Indonesia GM Aries Nugruho heads to FleishmanHillard

FleishmanHillard has appointed?Aries Nugruho (pictured) as the new SVP, partner and general manager for its Jakarta office. In his new role at FleishmanHillard Jakarta, he will report to Lynne Anne Davis, president of Asia Pacific.

Nugroho was previously the Indonesia GM and head of government and public affairs with Ogilvy. He was with the WPP agency since 2011, but left four years later for a one-year stint with Edelman as the MD of corporate and public affairs. He returned to Ogilvy in June 2016 and stayed on for three years. For two years until 2018, Nugroho was also concurrently working with Creatitude as its managing consultant.

Prior to heading the PR at agencies, Nugroho was a consultant with various companies for Indonesian and foreign international enterprises as well as NGOs, such as USAID, UNDP and the World Bank, and government ministries for communications, transportation, finance and the Human Rights Commission.

He has also held regional marketing and business development roles with Warner Music, World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and Danone brand's Evian.
