Ruhana DaSilva (pictured left), former MD of Isobar Malaysia, has founded digital consultancy, REISE, together with fellow founder and managing partner Sudhansh Jadon (pictured right). DaSilva told A+M that REISE is a digital consultancy that bridges strategy and activation, driving meaningful results to the most complex ideas and organisations. The eight-man team specialises in a specific digital domain that supports bringing REISE’s vision to life. Dasilva said that the company’s main focus is to challenge the norm, merging purpose, product, and people to function strategically by connecting with its audiences online.
In today’s world, anyone can have a platform online, said DaSilva. “After working with some of the worlds top advertising brands, it was very clear that the communities we were helping to build and nurture could also serve a bigger purpose,” she added. REISE was therefore born to champion these platforms for impact, as consumers are increasingly becoming more conscious of what a brand stands for. According to DaSilva, this includes diversity and inclusion, climate action, human rights, mental health, among others.
Meanwhile, Jadon added that it is important for brands to stand out outside of the profits they generate and use their platforms to drive collective positive impact. According to him, REISE is on the lookout for brands to form impactful partnerships with. It currently has clients in the education, health, non-profit, energy and sustainability, retail, as well as the financial services industries. "In a world where people are always ready to take, we are here to give.
In a world where everyone is trying to be normal, we are here to be crazy," said Jadon in a LinkedIn post, adding that REISE did not happen overnight and that it is "ready to do more".
When asked who its biggest competitors are, DaSilva said she feels that the market is an “untapped space”. “While many agencies approach working with clients on a marketing KPI level, where we come in is on the mission level, and what sort of mission the brand and business want to drive to harness the potential of their platforms,” she explained.
DaSilva was previously appointed to lead dentsu’s newly expanded Isobar team earlier this March, folding Lemonade under its name. She was leading Lemonade prior to that. Lemonade was formed at the end of 2017 as a unit under Consider iProspect with DaSilva at the helm before growing into a full-fledged agency in 2019. There is no replacement as Kunal Roy was recently named CEO of dentsu creative service line. Meanwhile, Jadon was iProspect’s head of digital strategy and media, which he has held the role for two years since 2019. Prior to that, he also helmed the role of business director in 2018, according to his LinkedIn profile.
