KC Global Media Asia names new director and head of digital marketing

Multimedia company KC Global Media Asia has appointed Lee-Asha Dukhie (pictured) as its new director and head of digital marketing. She will be responsible for overseeing all digital marketing efforts, working closely with Serious Media, the company’s marketing agency, to shape KC Global Media Asia's digital strategy across the organisation’s social media platforms and digital properties.

With years of experience in advertising sales and marketing for both digital and print media, Dukhie will be at the forefront of driving innovative digital campaigns, expanding KC Global Media’s digital footprint, and connecting with audiences across digital and social platforms, the company said in a release.

KC Global Media Asia added that Dukhie will be able to analyse audience behavior, anticipate trends, and design strategies that effectively connect with viewers on a personal level through her expertise.

George Chien, co-founder, president and chief executive officer (CEO) at KC Global Media said, "We’re excited to welcome Dukhie to the team. We spent the past couple of years stabilising our linear business and now is the right time to have dedicated resources focusing on our digital and social platforms."

"Dukhie brings a wealth of expertise in digital growth, content strategy, and audience engagement, which will be instrumental in advancing our digital marketing efforts and ensuring our content resonates with audiences in the region. Bottomline, she will ensure we are relevant," he added. 

In addition, Chien unveiled KC Global Media Asia's extended partnership with Singapore-based branded content and marketing services company Serious Media. 

"The addition of a new director and head of digital marketing and the strengthened partnership with Serious Media mark important milestones for KC Global Media as the company continues to enhance its global presence and lead in the entertainment industry," he said.

Dukhie's appointment comes after KC Global Media unveiled a new leadership team in October 2024. The company promoted long-time Taiwan lead Shirlene Wu to VP and GM of Taiwan and Greater China and appointed Edie Goh as its VP of revenue and head of media and sponsorship sales in Singapore. 

Additionally, Bhuvnesh Kanwar was named the company's VP revenue and head of FAST channels across Indonesia, South Asia, the Middle East and Africa, while Bonniw Wiryani was elevated to the role of VP, revenue and head of content sales. 

The reorganisation followed the departure of Avani Bhanchawat, VP and head of revenue.
