Digitas names new MD, hires former Ogilvy SG managing partner

Publicis' digital agency Digitas, has appointed Rika Sharma, former managing partner at Ogilvy Singapore, as the new managing director for Singapore. During her eight year tenure at Ogilvy, Sharma built a reputation as an industry expert and a thought leader in the digital, social and content space, growing the Ogilvy business through many high profile pitch wins across the region.Prior to Ogilvy, Sharma ran her own marketing consulting business and previously worked at Prudential Consulting in Canada as a marketing and communications manager and was a consulting associate with Genesis Burson-Marsteller in India.In her new capacity, Sharma will be responsible for continuing to grow Digitas as a leading marketing transformation agency through the alchemy of strategy, data, tech, media and creativity. She will report into Annette Male, Digitas CEO APAC.“With great momentum behind them, it’s an exciting time to be joining Digitas.
