DBS Bank names head of digital and CX for investment arm

DBS Bank has promoted Clarence Lin (pictured) to executive director and head of digital and customer experience for its investment services arm DBS Treasures. Lin was formerly executive director, regional bancassurance for three months, according to his LinkedIn.

Lin has been with DBS since November 2014, when he first joined as head of digital and social media, VP group strategic marketing and communications for three years. He later moved on to VP, regional bancassurance in November 2017 and senior VP, regional bancassurance in March 2019. Prior to joining DBS, Lin was APAC head of marketing at TUI and, before that, was head of marketing and communications at A*STAR. He was also previously head of marketing and communications at KOP limited. DBS has declined to comment on Lin's promotion. 

Earlier in January this year, DBS Bank promoted Shannah See as managing director, head of Greater China SCP, DBS Private Bank. According to her LinkedIn, she took up the new position in January 2022. Prior to this role, she was managing director, market head at DBS Private Bank from March 2019 to January 2022. At the same time, she was also market head at DBS Private Bank, as she took up this position in September 2018.

Separately, DBS unveiled a brand new campaign earlier in March titled “E-ver-y-thing is in or-derrrr” in partnership with The Secret Little Agency to celebrate the virtues of effortless banking. The campaign which runs for a period of three months, takes audiences on a day-in-the-life adventure of a protagonist who is living her fullest life effortlessly with the help of DBS digibank and PayLah! The campaign will be running on platforms such as digital, OOH, social, owned media assets, and media buying is handled by Publicis’ Performics team.
