Companion Communications refreshes brand and visual identity

Companion Communications, a lifestyle communications consultancy based in Hong Kong and Singapore, has refreshed its logo and revamped its website to highlight its commitment to delivering top-notch services across the dining, travel and property industries.

The rebrand reflects Companion’s dedication to staying at the forefront of the communications industry in Asia and its commitment to delivering top-notch services across three verticals: dining, travel, and property.

As part of the rebrand, a brand-new visual identity is introduced, which can be experienced on their revamped website www.companioncommunications.com.

The agency has also unveiled a modern and dynamic logo and visual design, capturing the essence of innovation and creativity that defines its approach to communications.

Companion’s new visual branding is characterised by a neutral colour palette, underpinned by a signature shade of sage green. This evolution in style and tonality denotes the agency’s growth and a turn towards this second chapter of maturity.

Under the refreshed brand identity, Companion will continue to specialise in public relations (PR), content creation, and social media strategy, offering clients a fully integrated approach to their traditional and digital communication needs, according to the release.

In a conversation with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, Companion's managing director and founder, Dominique Backhouse said the rebrand was done in-house, with its brand and website consultant Camille Malloch, who has worked for Companion since 2019.

"We strategised and created the rebrand over six months together - we've worked side by side for so long that she already had a deep understanding of who we were, and a very strong opinion of what we needed to streamline - which was great!" he added.

Furthermore, Companion has streamlined its services in the areas of dining, travel, and property, leveraging its industry expertise and insights to deliver exceptional results for clients in these sectors.

Companion’s travel accounts include large-scale global brands such as Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and small hotel groups such as Teardrop Hotels in Sri Lanka as well as boutiques including Genghis Khan Retreat in Mongolia and The Hari in Hong Kong.

Dining clients include such iconic names as Chef Shane Osborn of The Arcane Collective, Lorenzo Antinori’s Bar Leone, Nana Chan and Plantation Tea Bar. Property clients include large-scale developers such as Barratt London in the UK and luxury niche offers such as The World, and Residence at Sea.
