Changi Airport appoints digital PR shop

Changi Airport Group(CAG) has appointed a digital PR agency to promoteĀ Changi Airport as a retail destination globally, with communications strategies to be run out of Singapore.Waggener Edstrom Worldwide has been selected following a pitch involving other digital and marketing agencies, and has been appointed until the end of the year on a retainer basis with an option to extend for another year.The agency is tasked to provide strategic counsel, campaign conceptualisation, influencer engagement and technical support, as well as social monitoring and analysis for CAG.Key areas of focus include promoting Changi Airport as a retail destination as well as activities hinged on featured airline partners and destinations."Through strong digital and story-telling capabilities as well as data-driven insights, we hope to support Changi Airport Group in its global communication efforts," said Carolyn Camoens, deputy general manager and Studio D lead, Singapore, Waggener Edstrom Worldwide.The agency's other recent new clients include Standard Chartered Bank, Mercer and Merck Serono.
