BBDO Taiwan has kickstarted the new year with strategic leadership promotions, including Alan Hung ascending to CEO and Kevin Ho stepping up as general manager.
Both Hung and Ho’s appointments are effective from the outset of this year. They report to Beck You, CEO of BBDO Greater China.
Hung was previously the managing director of BBDO Taiwan. Over the past 12 years, his wealth of experience has played a pivotal role in driving the agency's success in Taiwan. This promotion reflects the recognition of his outstanding contributions and positions Alan to lead BBDO Taiwan to new heights.
Prior to BBDO Taiwan, Hung had helmed several senior positions at J. Walter Thompson and FCB Global. Meanwhile, Ho, who previously held the position of client service director at BBDO Taiwan, has been appointed as the new general manager. Ho has played a crucial role in fostering client relationships and ensuring the seamless operation of our services, according to the release.
His promotion is a testament to the exceptional contributions he has made and the confidence the organisation has in his ability to lead the Taiwan team to further success.
You remarked on these promotions, "Hung and Ho exemplify the dedication and skills that define BBDO's success. Their promotions reflect not only their achievements but also the collective strength and growth of BBDO Taiwan and I have full confidence that their leadership will undoubtedly contribute to even greater success ahead.”

Don't miss: BBDO China's chief creative officer steps down to pursue entrepreneurial venture
While in China, BBDO China’s Nicole Ma stepped down from her role as the agency’s chief creative officer last August to embark on a new entrepreneurial venture, but she will continue to collaborate with BBDO in a new capacity.
In a conversation with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE previously, a spokesperson from BBDO said Ma’s decision to embark on her entrepreneurial venture is driven by her desire for new challenges and opportunities. Her departure signifies a natural evolution in her career and a reflection of her personal aspirations.
After dedicating valuable years to the growth and success of BBDO Shanghai, she felt compelled to explore this exciting opportunity and channel her creative energy into a different arena, the spokesperson said.
