1. Interview: Eugene Lee exits McDonald's, reflects on his career and the industry

After 15 years with the fast-food chain, Eugene Lee is stepping down from the role to prioritise his family and his three-year-old son. Like many other fathers, Lee wants to witness his son grow up and be there for him as a father figure. That's not to say the decision came easy for him. "After 15 years with McDonald's, it's not an easy decision to step away from a brand that has played such a significant role in my career," said Lee in an exclusive interview with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE.

2. Interview: Former Edelman SG chief Julia Wei takes CEO role at The Atelier & Co. Holdings

Julia Wei is taking on the role of CEO with The Atelier & Co. (TAC) Holdings. With a presence in Singapore, Hong Kong, and China, TAC Holdings is renowned for its work with some of the world's most prestigious brands and individuals.
An accomplished business leader in marketing, creative and communications including her most recent tenure as CEO of Edelman Singapore, Wei will be tasked to spearhead the company’s growth. Largely, she will be responsible for operational success, strategic expansion, and growing the firm’s influence in the luxury segment.

3. From boardroom to courtroom: Does comms have a say in the CDL family feud?

City Developments Limited (CDL) group chief executive Sherman Kwek has roped in senior counsel Davinder Singh to his team of lawyers to represent himself and six other board members against his father and CDL executive chairman Kwek Leng Beng. Meanwhile, the older Kwek and three other board members are represented by LVM Law Chambers.
With both parties lawyering up and the boardroom tussle turning into a rather public courtroom battle, MARKETING-INTERACTIVE spoke to industry professionals on what the role of communications is when lawyers step into the picture.
