VCCP Singapore has appointed Megha Ramesh as associate creative director. She was most recently with TSLA where she worked on a variety of local and regional accounts including DBS, Marriott Bonvoy, OLLY, National Heritage board, KFC and Mandai. Ramesh (pictured) was also previously part of the Unilever and Johnson & Johnson team at DDB Singapore and has over a decade of experience across Singapore and India.
Her appointment bolsters a growing creative department that has already seen senior hires including Guy Futcher as regional creative director, and Kelvin Lim as head of art this year. In addition to growing its talent pool, VCCP Singapore has also bagged several new clients this year, such as Deliveroo, Sun Life and Toll. According to the agency, it is seeing some of its clients who were initially hit by COVID-19 start to rebound.
ECD Andrew Hook said that the second half of the year has been action-packed, so it’s great to have some high-calibre reinforcements joining the team. "We’re excited to have Ramesh on board – she has definitely hit the ground running, getting involved in some large-scale projects in her very first week," he added.
Meanwhile, Ramesh said she is delighted to join such a well-respected, diverse and seasoned team. "There’s a wealth of creative experience in play and it’s a great opportunity to grow in my role. I’m ready to get stuck into the work and contribute to the next chapter of VCCP’s story," she added.
In early October, Deliveroo Singapore launched an in-app feature which enables users to round up their food orders and donate to charity organisation, food from the Heart (FFTH). The launch occured around the same time as the World Food Day on 16 October, in a joint effort to promote awareness and action for those who suffer from food insecurity due to rising costs of living.
In June, financial services company Sun Life Singapore appointed VCCP Singapore as its creative agency partner. Before the appointment, a closed-door pitch that crafts a brand strategy and narrative that resonates with the targeted high net worth and ultra high net worth client segments in Singapore was presented.
