Unifi taps Fattah Amin as newest brand ambassador

Malaysian internet service provider Unifi has appointed actor and singer Fattah Amin as the brand's latest ambassador. Fattah is known for his appearances on hit Malaysian films KL Special Force and Mat Kilau, as well as TV series Keluarga Itu that is currently airing on TV3. He also recently launched a single titled Lelaki Terakhir in February this year. 

The internet service provider first shared the news on its Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok accounts.

In one of Unifi’s videos, the brand welcomed the actor on board with the caption “Fattah Amin dah ('has') joined team yunni! We are BFFs now. #FattahAminXUnifi.”  

Unifi’s parent company Telekom Malaysia (TM) also commented on the partnership on its Instagram stories. It said it is “glad to have Fattah Amin with us on team yunni”. 



The partnership between Fattah and Unifi comes in tandem with the release of the Unifi TV original 11 Cinta Sebelum Kamu romantic comedy starring the actor alongside Ahirine Ahirudin and Maria Farida, which was released on 15 February. The film directed by Harith Baharudin, is about a former ‘playboy’ who confronts his 11 ex-girlfriends for forgiveness in attempts to receive his future mother-in-law's blessing for marriage. 

Unifi has also announced a competition for 11 people to win an exclusive dinner date with Fattah in conjunction with the film’s release. Submissions for the lucky draw closed last Friday (28 Feb).  


Unifi has been featuring various Malaysian celebrities and influencers on its social media content but has not been known to have picked a brand ambassador before in recent years. 

This appointment comes after the brand released its recent campaign "Unifi universe" last June. The campaign demonstrated the brand's portfolio of products and how it converges into a seamless ecosystem. Accompanying the campaign was a brand film titled "Choose your UniVerse" where it featured a diverse cast of family members and individuals from all walks of life. 

The brand film also featured a catchy song that reminds viewers of Unifi's offerings - Unifi Mobile, Unifi Home and Unifi TV - and how users can also choose themselves, choose their friends and choose a space that is as unique as they each are.
