Fernandes was recently named CEO of airasia.com during a management reshuffle which also saw Spencer Lee, Aireen Omar, Bo Lingam and Karen Cha helm new roles. Last week, he also announced the opening of Santan and T&Co at Mid Valley Megamall, AirAsia's very own restaurant that aims to be a highly efficient fast food chain specialising in ASEAN dishes at affordable prices.
According to him, Santan and T&Co will be the next “digital restaurant” with automated food preparation processes and the use of digital ordering facilities to offer a seamless and convenient digital journey for consumers.
