Times Square has launched its Christmas decorations with a number of installations across the mall.
Running until 3 January, Times Square's Christmas decorations include a 15-metre tall botanical themed Christmas chandelier, a 2.5-metre tall stylish Christmas tree at the atrium, and a 27-metre long Christmas garden located at Open Piazza on the ground floor. Apart from the green decorations, this year's celebration also invited Botanic Union to set up its first pop-up store at the atrium, filled with a variety of specialty plants and Christmas decorations from all over the world, including air plants, staghorn ferns, cacti, mini Christmas trees, and mini crystal Poinsettias. Mr Simms also has a pop up store, offering over a hundred different types of sweets and chocolates from the UK and Europe.
Interactivity is also a crucial element of this year's celebration. Hosted by florists from Botanic Union, visitors can join the Christmas wreath-making workshops to construct their own custom wreath out of various plant materials.Embracing cultures from around the globe, Times Square has invited British illustrator Julian Charlton to use "Warm and fun @ Winter Time" as the theme to paint interactive street art on different floors, each depicting humorous and lovable animals.Lastly, the mall has joined hands with Bandai Gashapon to create the "Capsule Lab" to showcase over a hundred capsule toy figurines, including popular anime characters such as Demon Slayer, Gundam, and Mazinger Z.
