Tealive gives Mobile Legends fans a bang for their buck with rare skins of playable heroes

Tealive and payment gateway UniPin have collaborated with game developer Moonton to unveil three rare skins of playable heroes in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Individuals stand a chance to win the skins by purchasing a drink from Tealive's Bang Bang series, scanning the QR code on the receipt, and registering. Additionally, Tealive has also printed special edition cup sealers featuring Mobile Legends: Bang Bang motifs for its Klang Valley outlets.
Founder and CEO of Loob Holding, Bryan Loo (pictured right), told A+M that at the end of the day, it is all about building cross-branding relevance since both brands are targeting a similar consumer pool.
"We imagine these gamers enjoying Tealive drinks while playing Mobile Legends. And it is an apt coincidence that we share a similar product name - their Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Tealive’s Signature Bang Bang series of drinks. This was a project with a quick turnaround time. It took us only a month and a half of constant discussion between the Tealive marketing team, Moonton and Unipin," he explained.
According to him, the collaboration resonates well with the brand and builds on its promise of "Always more than tea" and "Bringing joy to people's lives through tea". In this case, Loo said it is a "money-cannot-buy" type of experience for Tealive consumers. Through the collaboration, Tealive aims to obtain more share of voice and incremental sales for its Signature Bang Bang drinks.
Meanwhile, UniPin executive director Marcus Sua (pictured left) said it is glad to be working with Tealive to engage the thousands of Mobile Legends fans through the latter's 598 outlets in Malaysia. Aside from the rare skins, UniPin is also running a second promotion named "Spin Your Day Around" for the month of May. Gamers who top up at least RM20 at UniPin will stand a chance to win a collection of MLBB in-game currency, skins or Tealive discount vouchers.
