TBWA\ Singapore names new group creative director

Communications and creative agency TBWA\ Singapore has named Gustavo Figueiredo as its new group creative director, according to Gustavo in a LinkedIn post.
Figueiredo steps into the role after spending just over a year as creative director at Forsman & Bodenfors Singapore, He joined the agency in 2022 and left early this month

Prior to that, Figueiredo helmed the role of senior creative at 180 Global. Working out of Amsterdam, Figueiredo worked with clients such as DHL, Pepsi Co, Qatar Airways, Peugeot and Italian global cruise line MSC Cruises.
Before his stint at 180 Global, Figueiredo worked as creative lead and art director at iris Worldwide. He held this role for just under four years. In his time there, Figueiredo worked with global brands such as Heineken, adidas, Uber, Intersport, Footlocker and Samsung.
An experienced marketer, Figueiredo was previously at Saatchi & Saatchi. He joined the agency in 2011 as its creative and senior art director before climbing the ranks to become its global creative director in its Switzerland branch in 2013.
Figueiredo has also held roles in companies such as The Campaign Palace, Leo Burnett Tailor Mde, JWT, Grupo Full Jazz and Neogama BBH.
Figueiredo's appointment comes shortly after toy company the LEGO Group named Andy Grant as its global creative lead, brand, according to a LinkedIn post by Grant. Grant was previously executive creative director at TBWA\ Group Singapore.
Grant held his role at TBWA\ Group Singapore for three years from 2019 before he stepped down in August last year. Prior to that, Grant was executive creative director at Iris. He held this role for two years after joining in 2017.
