Malaysian girl group Dolla has announced that one of its members Syasya has withdrawn as a member of the group due to personal reasons. The three remaining members Angel, Sabronzo and Tabby will still continue with group activities.

“We would like to emphasise that despite this, we still see Syasya as our little sister, and will continue to support her in her journey,” wrote the group in a post on Instagram. “We remain fully committed to give the best that we can for all of you, and to continue on with the journey that we have planned as Dolla,” they added.

As Syasya exits the girl group, A+M decided to take a look back at some of Dolla's biggest brand partnerships and campaigns over the years. Check it out below.

1. Bio-essence

Together with Bio-essence for Hari Raya, Dolla created a Raya song titled Raya Da-da-da that features the brand’s ‘Bio-Water Sensitive PH’ line.

The lyrics of the song also playfully describe the moisturising benefits of the new line such as “when you ask me what I’m wearing, it’s vitamin B5” and “come in hot and hydrate this Raya with style”.

The campaign further featured a four-part mini-series on Instagram where the members of Dolla had to complete certain tasks such as making cornflake cookies and going to the Ramadan bazaars.

2. Bonia

Dolla was the face of Bonia’s sportswear line Mossa in 2023 in a campaign that aimed to encapsulate the old money and preppy chic look for the fashionistas who play sports.

The collection featured leather bags, a racket bag, sweatpants, jackets and cardigans to name a few according to media reports.

3. Cetaphil

Cetaphil Malaysia partnered with Dolla for its first-ever Instagram take-over initiative. Covering two episodes, the girl group talked about the brand, its products, and the five signs of skin sensitivity.

Dolla's members also shared their experiences with Cetaphil products as part of their daily routine. This is part of Cetaphil's campaign to educate Malaysians on skin sensitivities, which includes dryness, irritation, roughness, tightness and weakened skin barrier.

4. Darlie

Darlie Malaysia collaborated with Dolla on a short film titled ‘Outshine Your Fears’ in 2023 which told the story of how the group was formed. The film begins with the four members being nervous about their auditions and how they were plagued with fears about not being good enough.

As the members build friendships with one another and overcome their fears, the film highlights that a confident smile sets the stage for one to shine.

5. Fila and JD Sports

To showcase the bold personalities of each member, Dolla teamed up with Fila on four pairs of FILA x Dolla Disruptor Sleek Women's Trainers.

Exclusively available at JD Sport the shoes come in purple, pink, green and beige.

6. Pizza Hut

Dolla and Pizza Hut put the dance skills of their fans to the test with the #DollaMeltsDance.

Fans had to dance with Pizza Melts in one hand and post it on social media to win a dance workshop with the group among other prizes.

7. Samsung

Most recently, Dolla and Malaysian boy group Insomniacks collaborated with Samsung on a Raya anthem titled Lagu Raya Raya Raya along with a competition to meet and greet the two groups. To participate, fans had to complete a poem using words from the songs of Dolla or Insomniacks.

In 2022, Dolla was also the face of its Galaxy A series where the group tested out the capabilities of the phones in a variety of scenarios such as indoor roller-skating rinks and karaoke sessions.

8. Shopee

eCommerce platform Shopee Malaysia and Dolla took over traffic in Kuala Lumpur last year with a 3D billboard runway fashion show for Shopee's 11.11 Big Sale shopping festival.

The 3D billboard, located in front of KLCC Twin Towers, teased the question, “Siapa Mereka?” (Who are they?), inviting audiences to guess the identities of four doll-like women striking poses, still as statues, inside four gigantic orange boxes in the shapes of the number one.
